The Diary of VA – What Are The Magic Words For Success

Many people today are wondering how to be a successful person someday. No one knows their very own destiny when or where they are going to reach our very own success. Most of the people today have this perception of having a good credential in the academe to get a good job – that’s a big “no no“ to me.

I experienced discrimination when I graduated from college, I actually graduated so late but it does not matter for me, it seems so difficult to get a job right away. I am not that kind of person who has a pleasing personality because I am a big fatty loser – and with only one eye. I already knew that this perception hinders me to get hired.

But this doesn’t stop me from finding a job. Being good inside the academe will not save you from this unfair real world because. As I move forward, I did not expect to go onto this path, being a Virtual Assistance. After graduation, you will need to be resourceful or street smart so that you will know how to deal with the real world.

So is there a real magic word for success?

Some people say no or they may shrug their head. As for me, I have some magic word for success that I actually applied as a Virtual Assistant for almost a decade.

Dedication

Being a dedicated worker uplifts your moral and as well as your colleagues to work effectively. But do not expect more on your compensation but focus on your boss or client’s trust for long-term projects. Do not expect too much on the earnings but try to dig some trust to your big boss or to you client. Being greedy will not help you but at least they will see that you are the one who are suited and trusted for that job or project.

Hardwork

Being a hardworker is another magic word for success. Just like a dedicated worker, a hardworker tries to give their best to impress their boss or clients unconditionally. Being a hardworker may at least boost the morale of your boss or client to give you a bonus. But don’t expect too much just only do your job and your hardwork may pay off someday – just wait and see for yourself.

Commitment

Being committed to your task meaning you are obliged to give something to your boss or client – an output of your labor. Setting up an expectation with your boss or client is the best way to make sure that the job is done – a well-done output. This will help you to get more long-term projects.

Communication

As we have all said: “Communication is the key to success!” Communication is one of the key pointers to discuss the details of the task and even resolve errands immediately. This won’t mess up your work – this will save time for you and money for your client.

Responsible

It is also important that you are responsible to your client once you get hired as his or her Virtual Assistant so that you may assure that you will have a long-term project with them. And please, do this unconditionally, some clients are not that “easy to get” to give you a bonus. Just do your own best.

If you want to add some here on my blog, you may leave a comment below and we will discuss it. I love to know your thoughts guys.

Jerwin is a simple guy who has the ambition to be a pocketbook writer or a poet but he turned out to be a Virtual Assistant for almost a decade. His motivation is his friends in social media as well as his family. He is currently looking for more ideas in blogging and his goal is not to impress people but to enhance the writing skills that he doesn’t want to learn because of grammar warriors or critics that he may get him upset.
