HDD or Hard Disk Drives is cheaper than the SSD or Solid State Drives however, there are some differences as you try to test run your computer.
Crawls Faster
As I have said above, SSD is faster than the HDD. The clock rate of SSD is 2 to 3 times faster than the hard disk drives. You can do multi-task, play games and watching movies without experiencing lags. But you may also upgrade your random access memory and your video card for the smoothest performance.
Durability
Solid-state drives made up of flash memory that delivers excellent performance and durability. Unlike a hard drive, there are lots of small, moving parts inside — magnetic heads, spindles, and spinning platters — and may damaged at any time and may wipe out all the stored data. Actually, SSDs are more durable, run cooler and use less energy.
Data Transfer
SSD’s are known for their fastest tool in transferring data from internal and external storage devices. You don’t have to worry about waiting for a long time or experiencing lags while transferring data.

Lifespan
SSD has a short lifespan. According to some blogs, SSD’s may only use for 3,000 cycles or 1 to two years.
Indeed SSD’s are now more powerful than HDD. But before you buy an SSD online, make sure that you will look for the good reviews. Or if you are going to buy in the market, make sure to make a run test to make sure that works well.

Yep. Updated some of my laptops for a higher capacity ssd already. They made a whopping difference in performance.
